Detroit Public Library is ready to help in many ways

Listen Later

If you go to the library to borrow a book, you are just scratching the surface of all the tools and resources the library has to offer.

The Detroit Public Library System stretches across the city, providing access to laptops you can take home, experts and information on the stock market, a place to record and edit your own podcast and so much more.

Kathryn Dowgiewicz is a public relations specialist for the Detroit Public Library. She joined The Metro on Tuesday to discuss its offerings and how librarians can help find what you’re looking for.

Listen to The Metro weekdays from 10 a.m. to noon ET on 101.9 FM and streaming on-demand.
