In these final chapters, Moses prepares the Israelites for his departure, appointing Joshua as his successor and encouraging the people to remain faithful to God. He delivers a prophetic song and blessing, warning of future rebellion but affirming God's enduring mercy. Moses then ascends Mount Nebo, where he views the Promised Land from afar. The book concludes with his death, marking the end of his leadership and the beginning of a new chapter for Israel.
