By the deeds of the Law shall no flesh be justified!

Calvary, is the place where my burden was lifted,

Calvary, is the place where I was set free,

Calvary, is the place where my blind eyes were opened,

Jesus, my Saviour became precious to me!

As we used to sing as kids:

There's a Grand Highway that is free to all,

And it leads to the King's abode,

It starts at the Cross where Jesus died,

It is there you must join the Road.

Tramp,Tramp, I hear the marching,

Hark, Hark, the pilgrims sing,

And the High Way shall be my way,

I am going to see the King!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face,

And the things of life

Shall grow strangely dim

In the light of His glory and Grace

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27.14 heart

But to the one who not working, trusts and fully believes in Him Who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited to him as righteousness, the standing of being acceptable to God.

For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: Romans 4.13/14

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,

whose sin is covered.

 

Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity,

and in whose spirit there is no guile.
