Immediately after campus at the onset of her career, #WaithiraKibinda got attached to various organizations, communities, and individuals who helped open her eyes to different dimensions of the development sector.

A proud Daystar Alumnus, #WaithiraKibinda shares highlights of the period she had at the institution.

From courses in driving, secretarial studies, and Spanish, to helping with chores at home and working at a family business and many other adventures in between, #WaithiraKibinda looks back at the defining moments during the gap period after high school.

Recollecting her childhood memories, #WaithiraKibinda shares about her early childhood education, and primary school experiences and how those shaped her into who she is today.

#WaithiraKibinda is a Community Development Specialist who has been selflessly working with and for lowly-resourced women and youth in urban and rural settings including in Murang'a where she's also a daughter, wife, and mother.

Besides its programs, ICL-Africa has also grown various enterprises and widened the scope and range of product offerings through the years. Mike talks about why this has been important and what is envisioned for this moving forward.

To support efforts of getting better leadership and governance for the country, Mike published a book: #KenyaMpya, holding leaders to account. He discusses how this came about and what the intentions and results of this effort have been.
