With training camp beginning, we're going to clear the board on all remaining topics from the summer. We'll discuss the Prospects Challenge from Buffalo, where the Devils went 2-1 with many players standing out.

Darren Dreger reported that the Devils are in the mix on Erik Karlsson so we discussed that (36:35), Drew Stafford on a PTO (46:55), Taylor Hall changing agents (51:46), Deb Placey leaving the broadcast and Erika Wachter named the new gamenight host (55:15) and the details on "Behind The Glass" (1:08:05).

We're joined by the TV play-by-play voice of the New Jersey Devils; Steve Cangialosi. We'll discuss the upoming season with Steve and what might be in store for 2018-19.

Then, it's on to season previews for Steve Santini and Marcus Johansson, two players who are looking to put the 2017-18 season in the rear-view mirror and excel during the upcoming campaign.

Nico Hischier took the NHL by storm as an 18-year-old. Despite his strong rookie campaign, he got almost no recognition in terms of rookie of the year voting. He'll look to avoid the dreaded Sophomore Slump in 2018-19. We'll discuss what's next for the Swiss Center.

Then, it's a look at the fruit of Ray's labor, in defenseman Sami Vatanen. After Vatanen came over in a trade with Anaheim, he quickly asserted himself as the Devils best defenseman. Can he shoulder a big load this time around?

We’re joined by former Devils Captain and current MSG Networks analyst Bryce Salvador. We will touch on a number of topics with Bryce including some in-depth defensive topics.

Then we switch gears to player previews for two veterans, as we discuss Brian Boyle and Ben Lovejoy.

Two preview shows in and we've already reached what is most likely the most polarizing pair of players we'll discuss this September. Damon Severson has shown to be an analytics monster, but his play in his own zone has limited Coach Hynes' trust in him, especially as he was sat down the stretch. Can he take a big step forward towards being a bona-fide top-4?

Pavel Zacha will always be looked at as the player the Devils took 6th overall with some other more successful names on the board. Pavel showed signs of improvement last season, especially in the defensive end, but he'll be counted on to put up more points if he's to stay as the club's number two center.

We'll discuss both of these enigmatic players during the episode.

September is here, camp and preseason games are on the way and that means only one thing here on Devils Daily: Player Preview time is here. We'll start off our previews with two veterans, taking a look at Travis Zajac and Andy Greene. Zajac found a nice role as the third line center in between Blake Coleman and Stefan Noesen last year, but what will it mean for him in 2018-19. Andy Greene finished last season as the top-pairing left defensemen. Despite his age, it'll take a breakout performance from somebody to surplant Andy this season.

We opened today's show with a discussion about Martin Brodeur leaving STL and what's ahead for him. We chat with current Vancouver Giants Associate Coach Jamie Heward about the development of Colby Sissons from his time spent in Swift Current. We'll discuss the talented blue-liner that had a monster season in 2017-18. During the interview, more details about Marty heading to NJD surfaced so we kicked that around. Also, we discuss Ryan Parent being hired as an AC for Binghamton.

As sports fans, we're opinionated. It's what happens. Hating other NHL teams is a part of it too, with the Rangers and Flyers most likely to be at the top of everyone's lists. We'll go through our lists and give some answers why, as well as read your lists.

We're joined by the Head Coach of the North Dakota Men's Hockey program, Brad Berry, who will discuss former NoDak goalie Cam Johnson. Johnson, who led North Dakota to a championship in 2016was a strong player during his time in college.

Then, we'll chat about the Alternate, "Heritage" uniforms that the Devils released, opting to go with the white-red-green throwbacks for the first time.

Also, a quick discussion on Ty Smith signing his ELC.

Tuesday's show features a pair of interviews. First, we'll chat with Devils radio play-by-play voice Matt Loughlin, as we dive into what last season was like for Matt and what he expects for the upcoming campaign. Then we'll switch gears, as we speak to Andre Tourigny, the Head Coach of the Ottawa 67's about Devils 6th round pick Mitchell Hoelscher.
