#449 Staying True In the Moment of Temptation. What might you be willing to give up in order to keep the blessings of God? Or of what value is close fellowship with God to you? You see we can come across a moment of temptation and forfeit our nearness and love for God over some momentary of seeming personal advantage. Today we see an example of this from the scriptures, and let’s find out what we are to do in a case like this….

#447 Trusting While We’re Waiting.    Okay by a show of hands, who is waiting on something from God?  If that is not you now, we need to realize that we are all called to wait on Gods timing.  And His timing is always best.  Remember child of God, indeed His ways are higher than ours and the best thing for each of us is trusting in His will and timing. #446 On The Way To A Marriage.    Did you know that Believers in Jesus Christ are on their way to a Marriage Supper?  And at that is will be the best Marriage Supper of all time and eternity, with Jesus the groom providing everything, including our Righteousness.  Here is an exciting picture of that from the Bible.  Let’s get right into it right now….  

#445 Faith To Leave The Familiar. This is truly a special account, a bride has been found for Abrahams son Isaac, she is being asked to leave her home travel 500 via camel to meet her groom, will she be willing to go? This is quite the step of faith for her. Often God will ask us to leave the familiar in order to follow Him. How willing are we?

#444 A Divine Set Up.    Here we go, the plot thickens, will the servant of Abraham find a bride for Isaac?  Will the presumed bride be willing to travel 500 miles to make a new home for herself? This is certainly turning out to be one great love story, one that should be made into a movie.  Don’t let this blessing get away from you, stay up to date.  As well this is a true life story with greater meanings for our own lives….

#442 The Lord Will Provide. Abraham certainly showed himself to be someone who would believe wholeheartedly the promises of God. How willing are we to live on the promises of God? Now don’t just say yes out of hand, but how about when obedience to God requires sacrifice, when circumstances would make it hard to keep on believing and keep on acting on God’s promises. This is well worth considering today, let’s do just that right now….

#441 Not My Will But Your Will Be Done.    It is an amazing thought that Abraham would be asked to offer Isaac his only son, the son of promise, and be willing to do it.  Even more that Isaac would willingly submit himself to be sacrificed by his Father.  It is a beautiful echo of the Heavenly Father offering His only Son Jesus as payment for our sin. And Jesus willingly going to the cross for us, knowing that resurrection would follow.  Let’s walk out onto this scene together right now. 

#440 On The Road To Worship.     Our Worship of God is putting Him in His rightful place in our lives.  It is acting on His word and His promises. Worship is outward affection to God in trusting in His faithfulness, it is evidenced in obedience and sacrifice and blessings do follow.  No one will be ashamed who obey our faithful God.  Let’s see this played out in the life of Abraham.
