This episode will focus on the third opening sentence of the Lord's prayer "Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." What does it take to pray this section of the Lord's prayer? What does it require of me? My heart? My life?

Jesus prayed this specific part in Gethsemane when confronted with the Cross. Yet Jesus chose to pray "not my will, but Yours be done." We will unpack what all of this means for you and I and our own prayer life today.

On this episode we will revisit the statement of Jesus warning us about seeking to build a relationship with Him as actors (hypocrites). We will see the link the Bible present between hypocrisy and idolatry. Idols are some of the highest forms of actors (hypocrites)! For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.” Isaiah 37:17 “Incline Your ear, O LORD, and hear; open Your eyes, O LORD, and see; and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God.” Daniel 6:2

In this initial episode we will look at how Jesus began to answer this question to His followers. It will surprise us, not just that he begins with a “do not!” rather than a list of “do’s”, but why He begins here. This and more in this first episode of the series - pray:er.

This is the final presentation of this series "Jesus reveals the eight paths to happiness." Jesus surprisingly ends this last path exactly where He began, yet the ending does have an unexpected twist. After coming to the climax of this journey in which humility, selfless love, mercy, forgiveness becomes part of our experience, at this point we should expect ... persecution! How is this possible? And why does this group that is at the very end of this spiritual journey get the same blessing that "the poor in spirit" (the very first path of this journey) get? We conclude with precious answers to these questions that will reveal how to truly experience consistent happiness in an unstable and unpredictable world.

We are nearing the end of this series! We are now focusing on those who are blessed (happy!) because they are pure in heart. The blessing is that they get to see God. This is not inferring you and I must work extra hard to make our hearts pure - that's an impossibility! But then, how does it work? And what does it mean that we get to see God? We discuss these questions and more in this episode.
