Making his RIPEcast debut this week is our pal, Dex Stakker, with one of his signature dirty electro mixes. Enjoy.

Dex Stakker is an electro-house, electro and breakbeat DJ based in San Francisco. Formerly a longtime resident of festival-in-the-desert stalwart, Opulent Temple, and the popular SF-based production company Opel Productions, Dex has played countless venues all over Northern California. Dex recently joined newcomer Apex, artist-driven event production group and their first concern is to take that aforementioned festival experience to the next level (or maybe a couple of levels).

"It's definitely been a transitional time for me. This mix was done as if someone stuck a gun to my head, and said: "You have 60 minutes to live. Rock the floor. Don't hold back." To which I would say: "Can you back that gun away from my ear a little, so I can get my headphones on?" - Dex
