We start by discussing the Jobs of the Future (World Economic Forum), such as - Fitness Commitment Counsellor. That there are so many types of work if only we start living up to our capability. The poem inspires one to realize that potential - that your capability is endless - you only have to realize that and work on it. Why beg for something when you can earn it?

है अमित सामर्थ्य मुझ में, याचना मैं क्यों करूंगा...

In this episode, we are reading a poem written during the initial days of the lockdown in India in 2020. When Corona / COVID-19 pandemic forced the world into a halt, while lot of people suffered but at the same time, our cities started breathing again. Those clean skies, quiet roads inspired this poem. Few lines:

आसमान भी साफ और नीला है दिखता इन दिनों

धूल की भी चल रही अब छुट्टियाँ हैं इन दिनों

शाम भी रुकने लगी है एक तसल्ली चाय पर

वक़्त को भी मिल रहा है वक़्त सारा इन दिनों

पत्तों की सरसराहट -

अब सुनने लगी है

पंछी भी अब भोर राग गाने लगे हैं

हवा से सुर मिला के गुनगुनाने लगे हैं

Reading Two poems by Shri Sumitranandan Pant in this episode. First - Beej or Mitti ka Gahra Andhkar - story of a seed buried deep inside of dark soil, yet comes out in form of a plant, and creates a forest. Second poem - Parvat Pradesh mein Paavas is about the rains on the Himalaya mountain range. It's effect and what it does. We are reading the poem, while explaining the essence of the words used. While walking on a full moon night, I noticed the big bright yellow moon emerging from behind a dense Champa (Plumeria) tree covered with its pristine white flowers. A fictional conversation took birth - what if the Moon can talk to Champa flowers - what that will be like? That's the story of this poem :-)
