This week’s guest is Cyrine Farhat (@positiveonglucose_diabetes on
Instagram)
Rob and Eritrea are back on the intro and we discuss ONE YEAR of “Doing
Things Day” takeovers from people with Diabetes from across the world. It’s
especially relevant for this episode, because Cyrine was the first takeover
in our series, only days after the horrible events of the Beirut Blast. It
was those events that inspired Rob and Eritrea to send as much insulin as
they could get their hands on to the Diabetes Community in Beirut.
After the intro, Rob, Eritrea and Cyrine discuss:
* The Humanitarian Crisis in Lebanon
* Living with Diabetes during a crisis
* The difficulties accessing insulin in Lebanon
* The power of community
* And much more!
In the episode, Cyrine mentions a few resources and articles, we’ve linked
