First, The plaintiffs, a couple, met the defendant at a country music show. They plaintiffs say they became close friends with the defendant, and they all decided to move to Nashville together. They claim their roommate lied all the time, but then moved out early. They’re suing for unpaid rent. The defendant denies owing them anything. 

Then, The plaintiff lives in the same senior home as the defendant, and they met because the plaintiff bought weed from him. The plaintiff claims he had an envelope of $500, but it fell out of his pocket. He says the defendant stole the money, so he’s suing. The defendant denies taking the money. He’s countersuing for defamation.
