Growing up in a small town, Chris knew at just 14 years old that he wanted to become the Voice of the Buccaneers, so he started calling football games, gaining experience wherever he could, and building a plan long before anyone knew his name. Chris is now 28 years old and even though he's made huge leaps in his career, he still has the same dream as when he was 14. We talk about taking calculated risks, staying consistent when people don’t understand your vision, learning from rejection, and the mindset that helped him turn a childhood dream into a career. In this episode of Dialed but Alive, I sit down with my good friend Asa Smith-Foot to talk about his journey from growing up in a small town to chasing a career in MMA in Las Vegas. We get into what training is actually like, his first three amateur fights, the mental side of stepping into the cage, and what it’s really like trying to build a life around fighting.

In this episode of Dialed but Alive, I recap my first 70.3 and everything that came with it. I talk through race week, the swim, bike, and run, what went wrong, what surprised me, and what the experience actually felt like in real time. Overall just a real conversation about the race, the build up to it, and what I took away from it mentally and physically.

This is the starting point. In this first episode of Dialed but Alive I talk through how I grew up in Blairsville, how I went from being inactive and out of shape to getting back into football, lifting, and eventually getting into running and endurance training. I get into how that shift actually happened, the early workouts, the mindset I had, and how it turned into something I started taking seriously. I also talk about the parts that were not clean at all like injuries and dealing with putting in work without always seeing the results. Then I go into how I started posting content and building Potential Performance and what that actually means to me. This is not a finished story or some perfect blueprint, I am still in the middle of it and just documenting it as it happens.
