He is currently in charge of the X-Men family of books, but before that, he was the editor of the Star Wars line, Deadpool, Hercules, Hulk, and many others... I've known our guest for Friday, April 2 since he was an assistant editor at DC Comics, and, since then, I've seen his rise to become one of the most prominent figures in the industry. From his years at Wizard to his time at DC, and then at Disney Publishing where, as Executive Editor, he led the Marvel Press imprint of the company, among other things, to his current position as Publisher at IDW Publishing. Our guest was born in Kyoto, Japan, and grew up in Hawaii. His creation, Usagi Yojimbo, first appeared in 1984. Usagi has been on television as a guest of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as toys, on clothing, in comics, and in a series of trade paperback collections. He was inducted into the Eisner Hall of Fame in 2020. He's won 9 Eisner Awards, 2 Harvey Awards, Joe Kubert Distinguished Storyteller Award, an Inkpot Award and Inkwell Award, 3 Ringo Awards, Parents’ Choice Award, and many more. Our guest started working for Marvel with books like Spider-Man: Legend of the Spider Clan, Human Torch, and Venom. He adapted the oz novels with Eric Shanower, and after that wrote and drew the Rocket Raccoon series, He created I Hate Fairyland for Image Comics, and back at Marvel he wrote Deadpool and he's currently writing Strange Academy, with more creator-owned titles to be announced soon. Our guest started working at Marvel as an Assistant, then moved to Acclaim and then returned to Marvel again as Senior Editor. After that, he worked for DC Comics as the Group Editor of the Batman line of books, returning later to Marvel as Executive Editor, working on the X-Men family of books, Guardians of the Galaxy, and others. In 2015 he decided to join a new and challenging project as partner, co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Aftershock Comics, where he's still publishing some of the best creator-owned comics in the industry today. Our guest started working at Marvel in the editorial side of things in the mid 70s, being a steady presence in the House of Ideas until he became the company's 10th EiC (1987-1994). I'm pretty sure, though, that most of you know him as a writer for his runs on books like The Mighty Thor (a back to basics We all loved with Ron Frenz that aso gaves us Thunderstrike), Fantastic Four, many Spider-Man books, GIJoe, Dazzler, and many more, but I have to mention above them all the amazing, and missed, Spider-Girl book. He's also worked for other companies, of course, and He returned to DC Comics to help launch The New 52 line of books, with Superboy, Savage Hawkman, Legion Lost and other. With all this (and everything else I have NO SPACE to mention) I'm pretty sure you know I'm talking about the amazing TOM DeFALCO!!!

Our guest is a New York Times best-selling artist, known for his work on Batman, Lucifer and Batgirl for DC and Spider-Man, Loki: Agent of Asgard, Defenders and his current run in Captain Marvel for Marvel Comics. For Image Comics he's co-created (with Lucifer's showrunner Joe Henderson) Skyward (optioned by Sony Ent. for movie development) and Shadecraft (picked up by Netflix).
