To celebrate a milestone - 100 full episodes of the podcast I have invited two of my clients from the Diamond Effect small coaching program.
Gina Havranek, Virtual Assitant and the owner of Elevate Virtual Solutions, and health and wellness consultant Diana Chiru share their entrepreneurship journeys and growth as leaders of their businesses. We talk about the self-awareness that is required to run a successful business, the need for discipline, stepping out of comfort zones, and the importance of humility. We also discuss the challenges they faced in their businesses and how they overcame them.
It's an Episode you don't want to miss.

Branding is far more than just a pretty logo, fonts, or colors. They are just a very small part of a visual representation of your brand and should actually be the last thing you ever worry or think about, not the first. Today's Motivational Monday will help you figure out what's the first thing to consider.
One of the major mistakes I see entrepreneurs make is not having a strategy for their business growth. This costs them signing fewer clients, having to work with non-ideal clients, additional unnecessary fires they need to put down, more work and overwhelm, less money (from lost opportunities and wasted energy, time, and money), and ultimately less joy in running their businesses.
If you are a business owner with no growth strategy, this episode is for you. Tune in to learn what a strategy really is and why it is important.
Plus, I invite you to join me in the upcoming free challenge, 3 Radical Shifts for Serious Business Results, June 19-21 at 3 pm EST. Register HERE.
I talk about high performance a lot because I'm passionate about helping my clients become high-performing CEOs.
However, I realized recently that I don't talk enough about what I mean by high performance. In a nutshell, it's when you think at your best, feel at your best, and take the best action. In this episode, I dive deeper into this topic. I talk about each of the three areas to show you how your high-performance will drive the growth of your business.
We live in a world where being busy almost means "I'm important." Because of it, "I'm busy" became a favorite, widely accepted go-to reason to explain we didn't do what we planned or committed to do.
But what would happen if you couldn't use "I'm busy" anymore as such an excuse? What benefits could it actually create in the day-to-day of running your business? In this Motivational Monday, I'm challenging you to try this for a week - not to say, "I'm busy" as an excuse.
It's easier to honor bigger commitments that we have made to others and that carry some sort of penalty if canceled or missed.
It's a whole other ball game to honor commitments we have made to ourselves. Or smaller commitments to people we don't have strong relationships with, and missing them doesn't carry any form of penalty.
And yet, those smaller commitments are the most important. Because they are the ones that build our leadership self-concept. Our self-confidence and self-trust. From there, we build consistency, discipline, and high performance.
In this episode, I share five main reasons I see service providers miss their small commitments. Plus, simple steps of how to become a leader who does what they say they will do and when they say they'd do it. No matter the commitment size or to whom it was made.
Good habits are a key part of high-performance. We are habitual creatures :). To operate at your best in your business is much easier and simpler with good habits supporting you.
Starting a habit is easy. Continuing it to the point it becomes a part of who we are, and we can progressively build on it, up-leveling the way we operate; it's a skill in itself. Listen in to find out what are the two most important factors in successful habit building.
The primitive part of our brain likes things "easy." It doesn't like anything hard because that means exerting more energy and, more often than not, dealing with the discomfort that goes with it. So it lets us believe that if things don't come easy, then there is something wrong, and we shouldn't be pursuing them.
Yet, creating the best results for us in business and life can feel hard. Raising small children is hard and the most fulfilling at teh same time. Getting a business off the ground successfully can feel hard as well. And there is nothing wrong with that. It doesn't take away the fun, pride, and fulfillment you can feel during this journey.
In this episode, I want to normalize " the hard," encourage you to embrace it, and at the same time give you some tools that will make hard feel good :).

Our primitive brains love to operate in extremes. Either I beat myself to exhaustion to achieve my goal or feel sorry for myself and don't do anything. But extremes never serve us. The happy middle does. That's what giving yourself grace is all about. Accepting you are human and not letting yourself off the hook at the same time.
