I know we said shorter episodes... but we just couldn't help ourselves. There is so much to be excited for in this years WBC. Check the time stamps in this description if you want to skim through!

In this episode, we go through the WBC rosters pool by pool, predicting our winner and runner up from each. Pool A Preview (8:20) covers Taiwan, Netherlands, Cuba, Italy, and Panama. Pool B preview (29:44) covers Japan, Korea, Australia, China, and Czech Republic. Pool C (44:50) features USA, Mexico, Canada, Colombia and Great Britain. Finally, the absolutely stacked D Pool (59:50) features Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Isreal, and Nicaragua. 

After going through the rosters and making our selections we complete our WBC brackets, predicting the winners of quarterfinals (1:13:11), semifinals (1:22:20), and championship (1:27:24). Finally, we take a peak at the world baseball classic schedule, highlighting some key matchups (1:30:50).

Baseball is back, and it looks different. This is the result of the 2023 MLB rule changes that were put in place this offseason. Now that MLB Spring Training has begun, we are beginning to get a feel for what baseball will be like in 2023 and beyond. 

The MLB rule changes include bigger bases (2:35), a new pitch clock (5:04), and a ban on defensive shifts for infielders (28:00). Jacob and Isaac give their initial thoughts on how the rules are effecting the on field product, and what the impact will be on the game of baseball moving forward.
