DIAMOND STATE: MURDER BOARD will be back this Fall!

Tana Chastain, a college professor turned pharmaceutical sales rep, sits down with Andrew to discuss the 2010 film Love & Other Drugs. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway and is directed by Edward Zwick. The IMDB synopsis says: In 1990s Pittsburgh, a medicine peddler starts a relationship with a young woman suffering from Parkinson's disease. Tana discusses her rise in the pharmaceutical sales world and the accuracy of the films take on training to be a rep as well as the inaccuracies of dating a patient. Ian Hilton, former US ARMY soldier and host of Well That's Something podcast sits down with Andrew to discuss the 2005 film JARHEAD, directed by Sam Mendes and  starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Peter Skarsgaard, and Jamie Foxx. The IMDB Synopsis states: "A psychological study of a soldier's state of mind during the Gulf War. Told through the eyes of a U.S. Marine sniper who struggles to cope with boredom, a sense of isolation, and other issues back home." DIAMOND STATE: MURDER BOARD will be back this Fall.

While Diamond State: Murder Board takes a break for the summer, Andrew will be deep diving into movies by talking to professionals that are in careers that the film represents. Listen this week as Andrew talks to his Diamond State co-host Award-winning journalist George Jared about the 2007 film ZODIAC. George lays out his career as a journalist and the eerie similarities to the Zodiac investigation depicted in the film to the real life investigation of the Rebekah Gould murder case. He also talks about the achievement of cinema that the film holds to detail of realism while comparing it to other True Crime films that were not as well reviewed.
