I know what you might be thinking, vacation as an entrepreneur can feel like an impossibility, especially if you have no or a very small team. And because you love what you do, well, maybe you think being switched ON even during your vacation is no problem.

That ironic joke that you quit your 9-5 to work 24/7 in your own business is something that a lot of entrepreneurs experience. But as someone who actually worked non-stop (lol) BEFORE I became a full-time entrepreneur, for me this wasn’t an option, but more so a trap to fall into.

As I head for a 2-week vacation, I wanted to let you in on a few things I did to help me prepare so I can actually unplug while my business continues to run. YUP!

It’s possible to take a break AND continue to have your business moving forward. One is not mutually exclusive of the other.

It’s been a YEAR! My life has changed completely.

I took you on a journey to close one life chapter and open another.

I navigated divorce, packed up 16 years of my life, and became a digital nomad.

I refined my business model to make it more scalable.

I hired a team and I now decided to live in beautiful Tulum, Mexico.

Comfortable is not what I would use when looking back. Nor the word I would use to describe my life right now.

I live beyond my comfort zone. Courage, trust, and faith are part of WHO I AM  and I LOVE it.

Deep down, when you're really honest, humble, and transparent, I feel like we can all admit and agree that we have a natural tendency to come up with really, really good excuses to self-sabotage our business growth…

I want to have this conversation with you, because I have it with my clients and I have it with myself, plus I hear the excuses out there a lot. And those are all excuses that lead entrepreneurs to NOT take the actions they need to take to create business momentum.

A lot of these excuses are backed by specific marketing messaging, and or are created by our innate need to rush, to look for answers outside of us, to almost in a way sometimes put ourselves on a pedestal and say “Well, I don't have to do that because of that. Because it doesn't feel aligned.”

And it ain’t always a true story, so let’s talk about it…

There comes a point in business where doing things in a way that uses a “1:1” approach is no longer going to be a viable or feasible option. Cause you are bound to hit CAPACITY!

Even as a highly ambitious entrepreneur, you have a time and energetic capacity that has limits.

So if you are serving clients 1:1 and on top of that your lead generation process, launch process, or the way you market and sell your office all require your personal effort and speaking to one person at a time, but you are still wanting to scale your business, serve more clients and make more money, then it’s time to start coming up with a strategic approach to go from speaking to ONE to speaking to MANY!
