Today I had to remind myself that God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t feel like it. I’ve been praying, showing up, doing the best I can — but some days it seems like nothing is happening. The silence is loud, and the enemy tries to use that quiet to plant doubt in my heart.

He keeps whispering, “You’re not progressing. You’re wasting time. God forgot about you.” But deep down, I know those are lies. God doesn’t forget His daughters. He doesn’t abandon His promises.

Maybe what I see as “nothing” is really God working behind the scenes — building something I’m not yet ready to hold. Maybe the waiting isn’t punishment but preparation. Maybe He’s teaching me how to trust Him when there’s no proof of progress.

It’s hard sometimes. I won’t pretend it’s not. But I’m learning that faith isn’t about seeing results — it’s about believing that God is still working when everything looks still.

So today, I choose faith over fear. I choose to silence the lies and believe that my “not yet” is still a “yes” in Heaven. Because when it’s God’s time… it will be undeniable.

I’m tired of getting in my own way.

The truth is, I can’t fight this battle in my own strength. My willpower has limits. But the Holy Spirit doesn’t.

This isn’t about perfection — it’s about surrender.

Sis, I’ve learned that sometimes I confuse my worth with my work. I go and go, thinking if I hustle hard enough, I’ll finally feel enough. But the truth is—God didn’t design me to live drained. He calls me to holy rest and holy hustle, both surrendered to Him.

Rest is not weakness. It’s worship. It’s saying, “God, I trust You enough to pause.”

Hustle is not striving. It’s stewardship. It’s saying, “God, I’ll give You my best with what You’ve placed in my hands.”

As women of faith, we need both. Rest without hustle leaves dreams dormant. Hustle without rest leaves us empty. But when we balance both in God’s rhythm of grace, we walk in purpose without losing our peace.

Today I wrestled again with the thought of giving up. Not because I don’t believe in God’s promises, but because sometimes it feels easier to accept defeat than to trust Him completely.
