In this diary entry, I invite Andy on the podcast to do a part 2 of WTF! Me and Andy connected in the podcast world and created an episode together WTF Ep 189 on Real Men Feel, towards to beginning of June.  Prior to that, we were on a panel together to discuss being black in America but - Andy is a white man.

However, as I've grown to know him, I have found him to be an ally in this movement towards black liberation, equality and freedom. We came together because since these episodes, he has used his platform to push the culture forward and educate himself on his own white privilege and use it for good. 

This episode is heavy and it is not enough. However, it is one step forward in the right direction to bring change to the society we currently live in. I appreciate Andy for the work his is doing, being honest, vulnerable and transparent. We are all in this together.

HEY WENDY! lol (I know you're reading this)

Welcome to another great episode of Diary of a Mad Black Man. This diary entry is episode 2 of the friendship and adulting series. Wendy, who at the time of this recording, was my friend living in The Netherlands! We met through a group chat for The Roommates podcast. Through this group chat, and by the grace of God, we have built a bond that transcends the Atlantic Ocean and this world. 

Wendy is another friend of mine, who even before I considered her a friend, was there for me during my mental health challenges. Specifically after I became ill and almost died, she was there for me the best she could be, from the other side of the world. We go in depth into that during this episode and more. She drops many gems about friendship and how to maintain a balance between friendship and adulting. Wendy is my friend from The Netherlands and no distance between us will ever change that. It confirms the fact I am not alone in my journey of healing and managing my mental health.
