DICK CAVETT is one of the greatest talk show hosts in history and my personal favorite. He's won a numerous Emmy Awards for his talk show(s), that were on the air for five decades (and, technically two centuries, since you can buy the DVDs for The Dick Cavett Show). These I've never witnessed the type of candid, genuine conversations Cavett had with folks like John Kerry, although both have maintained their lustrous locks. Today, Cavett writes a column for The New York Times and his most recent book is TALK SHOW.
