This is the story of a small town football game in the 1990s in which gunshots disrupted the game. Although quite serious at the time, this is a somewhat humorous look at small town football and what went on that night from one coach's perspective.

New episode will be out Friday, March 28 telling the story of gunshots at a small school high school game in the late 1990s...be sure to look for it!

This episode centers around coach's mistakes. I tell the story of what led to a coach getting frustrated enough to send the players home from practice, as well as the positives that eventually led to and I'll tell the story of the time I got so angry that I said something that I still regret.

So we have the story of Go Home (you'll have to listen to get the full story behind that name, and the story of the bee.

Both of these stories take place in McBee, SC, as an assistant coach in 1988 and a head coach in 1989, and the two stories feature some of the same players.

This episode has several stories dealing with scrapes and skirmishes with Human Resources, whether by assistant coaches, emails that shouldn't have been sent, or forging signatures to skip meetings. There's the story of the angry parent who wants to involve the district's HR department, the crazy parent who goes after a special education teacher, and the special education teacher who fakes meetings. Included is an encounter with HR's version of Joe Friday.
