And just like that we start to see the pandemic in rear view and head hurling straight towards a war. Who'da thunk? It sure is an interesting time to be alive. I'm kinda wondering when (if ever) I'm going to get a break. Those are millennial white girl problems though. The real focus should be on the people who are actually suffering in Ukraine. What can we do? Truthfully, I don't know.

There's a lot of drama on Tiktok right now but whether you found out your favorite one didn't have it quite together as you thought they did or even worse discovered they were a total creep the lesson remains the same: don't meet your idols. Can we as creators really apologize for just being out here living our lives though? Hard to say. One thing is for sure: if you're having a moment, get the F off the internet instead of showing it to 3M people.

Just as it is with beauty standards the commercialization (or lack thereof) of minorities can be just as damaging and results in passive and/or unintended racism. Or is it intended?
