Do you want to know the biggest mistake people make when advertising stuff?

Here it is: People promote what they want to sell.

"Wtf are you talking about Diego?"

Aren't you supposed to promote what you want to sell?

Well... that's the obvious thing to do.

The smart thing to do is to promote a very very low risk offer for you audience aka a lead magnet.

If you promote a free thing on the internet you'll have a better response from your audience (and you'll build your list).

After you promote your free stuff you can add upsells and those upsells are exactly what you want to sell in first place, but you can't show it right away (unless is a very very warm audience).

Here's an advice for my younger self:

Stop overloading yourself with so much information and start taking action.

I wish I could hear to this 5 years ago when I was starting.

This has been hands down the most expensive mistake I've done.

And I see a lot of people with the same problem.

I wanted to learn literally everything and that held me back from taking action.

And nothing wrong with learning, I'm a huge supporter of learning, but the missing piece is taking action.

Paralysis by analysis is a real thing.

Here is the big "secret": Learn a proven process and start taking massive imperfect action, and keep learning on the way.

That will save you a ton of money and a lot of time.

Honestly it depends...

Do you like to write? Start a blog or drop bombs on Twitter.

Are you shy but you talk good? Podcast.

Do you like to be in video? You're golden, post your video everywhere.

The truth is that we are all good at something and good news are we have plenty of channels to choose from.

So definitely pick the one you feel more comfortable with.

My recommendation? Definitely start with video because video wins over everything. Most people consume video plus you can repurpose that video into a lot of platforms and also a podcast.

That will allow you to gain more exposure in more platforms without any extra effort.

Why you need a Facebook group?

Simple... When you start a Facebook group you start a little community of people that are interested in what you have to offer and they will start consuming your content.

And what happens next?

There in your Facebook group you'll be making offers of what you have to offer and maybe they won't buy today.

But maybe tomorrow, or next week, or in six months.

The idea here is simple.

If you build your little movement, your little community where people can learn from you and eventually they'll buy.

And let me tell you, you don't need a huge group to make money.
