Lost Pages was founded in 2012 by Paolo Greco, who decided that academia was frustrating as hell. Barely employed, from of a desk make of loudspeakers and a cabinet door they developed 'Adventure Fantasy Game', and then went off to release a series of spellbooks, including some bound by hand by Paolo, who dabbles in bookbinding and printmaking. This helped grow a strong and idiosincratic aesthetic, made in equal measures of 17th century pamphlets, medieval grimoires, and 20th century technical handbooks, often at the same time both game material and in-world artefact and prop.
