If I think about it rationally Dublin is no more of a city of contrast than any other. Most places you visit are marked by the different stages of their development, or the businesses that thrived there, and Dublin is no different. Depending on where you find yourself there are similarities with Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oxford and of course Liverpool.
I guess the reason why it seems more obvious in Dublin is the way that in collides, most notably in the buildings along ether side of the quays, toward the port area, because the style of this development was never intended to blend in. It is dominant and obvious, and that is not to say that I don't think it has a quality, just that it was always going to sit uncomfortably with what went before.
A lot of money has been spent, but I don't know how much of it has trickled down or out to enhance the lives of those who were born and raised there.
Stay safe.

Therapy For Me (or TFM as I now refer to it) is a bit of an audio curiosity. It started out as a mechanism for me to clear my head, with the hope that by saying stuff out loud it would act as a little bit of self-help. It's remains loose in style, fluid in terms of content and raw - it's a one take, press record and see what happens, affair.
If you want to keep in touch with TFM and the other stuff I do then please follow me on Facebook, Insta, Twitter or Patreon. Thanks for getting this far.
