Dig on America

Dutch and Hass are joined by ghost hunter JC Phillips of Extreme Vision Paranormal to talk ghosts and Halloween, get into the holiday spirit!  Are some ghosts angels? Do ghosts switch bodies? Is that a ghost touching me or just a horny co-worker?  Would Joe Biden, Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders make the most malevolent spirit?  The answers to these pressing questions and more are covered on this weeks, VFU, the podcast where politics and pop culture collide! We also answer listener questions about our Joker review, discuss the AVN Awards, Trump giving the middle finger to an astronaut, and more hauntingly fun shenanigans.  Join us in Arkham Asylum as Hass reviews two cigars, and AJ Fernandez Relic and an Ave Maria Divinia.

The podcast where politics and pop culture collide debates Columbus Day vs Indigenous Peoples Day with Nate Dracon of Drawing the Line podcast.  Did Francisco de Bobadilla slander Columbus? Other topics include Greta Thunberg vs Trump and is the Left too quick to use kids to promote their issues?  Shep Smith leaves Fox News, should trans women be allowed to compete vs those born women (clip of Neil deGrasse Tyson vs Ben Shapiro is used to provide context to the discussion).

That's not all, folks... Martin Scorsese says Marvel films are not cinema, Beto wants to pull tax exemptions from schools not allowing LGBT kids, Nate promotes the film Annihilation (2019) and Hass reviews a CAO cigar in the Humidor.

The podcast where politics and pop culture collide!  This week we examine the 2004 film Crash, and explore the racial and cultural tensions of the film and look at how those things have changed or remain the same today.  This is part one of a two part session on this important film.

We also discuss Antonio Brown going insane, his love of walking up behind women wearing a dishtowel and how he cost himself a ton of money farting on doctors.  We ask who is your favorite Family Guy character, and explore Trump's discussions with the leader of Ukraine and possible pressure to investigate a political opponent.  Hass reviews a Davidoff Nicaragua Maduro cigar.  This week we are joined by Mikey Famine of the ProLib YouTube show. Happy Batman Day!

Dutch is joined by "Crazy Conservative" Nate Dracon from Drawing the Line Podcast, available at www.TheWeeklyZ.com - the guys discuss civility, calling people racist, the southern strategy, universal health care and other topics in the first of what will certainly be multiple political chats.  Enjoy the bonus!! www.vfupodcast.yolasite.com and www.bigheadsmedia.com/politics

Actress and filmmaker Tucky Williams joins Hass and Dutch to discuss her film and the social media and Amazon review conspiracy to destroy it.  The film, Girl/Girl Scene, is available on Amazon Prime for free and due to it's LGBT content was assaulted by right wing anti-gay reviewers, much the same as the Rotten Tomatoes campaign that attempted to sabotage Captain Marvel.

NOTE: Please forgive an issue with Hass' mic, there was a continuing "pop" thru the recording that is somewhat annoying, but could not be edited out.  We will address this and correct by next show.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Tucky also talks about being an actress in horror films, her experiences growing up as a lesbian, her thoughts on politics and she corrects the guys numerous times in terms of social etiquette. Hass recommends a Dean Koontz book and reviews The Brick, by Torano Cigars.  Hass also discusses his first NFL game viewing since 2017 after ending his boycott due to the collusion against Colin Kaepernick.
