It’s the week after E3 which means there isn’t much news to talk about outside of EA looking to revive an old IP which might be Dead Space.

In Playing and Watching, Dave is playing Super Mario 3D Land on Switch while MJC enjoys Pokemon Snap.

We have a review for the Fixture S1 Mount and Case for the Nintendo Switch.

And in questions from the community we discuss Back 4 Blood being “Always Online” and MJC tries to convince himself and not convince himself that Abandoned is a Kojima game or a Silent Hill game.

E3 has ended and we’re here to cover anything we may have missed.

The main focus in the news is Nintendo’s E3 Direct featuring a new 2D Metroid game and a Breath of the Wild 2 teaser. In other news, Cyberpunk 2077 has returned to the PlayStation Store and Back 4 Blood shares their plans for DLC.

Playing and Watching is focused on Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart which Dave finished and Michael just started.

In Questions from the Community, we have some Death Stranding and Kingdom Hearts fun.

We are one week from E3/ Summer Game Fest and news is light, but luckily PlayStation still made headlines with the delay of God of War and Gran Turismo 7 and the news that both games will be Cross Gen, coming to both the PS4 and PS5.

In other news, Warner Bros. and Ubisoft set expectations for their E3 showcases and Dave and MJC theorize the logic and plans set by both companies.

Sorry for the short episode this week, we’ll have a couple episodes next week to cover E3 and all the various showcases.

It’s a news heavy week, with AT&T quitting the media business and spinning off the Warner Media assets including WB Interactive (Games), Sony humbl bragged about the amount of games they currently have in development and Ubisoft is focusing more on Free-To-Play games from here on out.

Playing and Watching, features some Mass Effect, Returnal and Destiny 2 chatter. And MJC gives him early impressions on the Roccat Pyro keyboard.

This week we get even more unexpected info from the Epic Games vs. Apple trial, including how much Epic games offered PlayStation to bring their exclusives to the Epic Games Store.

Plus the announcements of new entries coming to the Yakuza/Judgement and The Division franchises. And finally some bad news on how long this PS5 shortage/demand will last.

In Playing and Watching, there’s some more Returnal talk along with some Monster Hunter Rise impressions. Then MJC has a rant about 90’s sitcoms.
