There’s plenty of new game announcements outta Gamescom, but we focus on the Saints Row reboot and Marvel Midnight Suns. Then we spend a fair amount of time discussing Halo Infinite’s release date and its troubled development.

In Playing and Watching, MJC tried Psychonauts 2 and Rocket Rumble. And to Dave’s delight there’s mention of Ted Lasso.

It’s a quiet episode for news this week as the industry prepares for Gamescom Live, but there are some things to talk about including a Saints Row game tease, Skyrim celebrating its 10 year Anniversary and Xcloud coming to Xbox One and Series S|X consoles.

In Playing and Watching, Dave continues his Skyward Sword journey and MJC is on that FFXIV grind. There’s some wrestling, GameCube modding and Destiny 2 expansion talk as well.

In #AskDigitalDays, we talk about our favorite racing game and what games we’d take to a desert island.

The turmoil at Activision-Blizzard continues with more stories and news everyday. So this week Dave and MJC try to parse through some of the headlines at the top of the news section. And in other news, Take-Two are working on three remakes and we try our best to guess which games they could be.

In Playing and Watching, Dave started Zelda: Skyward Sword and MJC jumped into the Back 4 Blood beta and continued his Great Ace Attorney journey.

In #AskDigitalDays, MJC shares his take on WWE’s mass firings and then we end with a lighter talk of cartoons.

Dave is back!

News is light this week with the game industry still processing the Activision Blizzard madness, but we do have some lighter subjects to cover this week, including PS5 sales figures and SSD expansion info.

In Playing and Watching, MJC is enjoying The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles on PS4/PS5 and dabbling in Microsoft Flight Simulator on the Series X. Dave on the other hand is fresh off a mini vacation and played...

In Playing and Watching, there’s Pokemon Unite, Borderlands 3 and then we spend some time on Star Wars, Mythic Quest and more.

In Ask Digital Days, there’s questions on if PlayStation will respond with a Vita 2, Game Pass’ appeal and then MJC rants about prices for used PS3 games.

It’s a big week for Valve as they announced their first portable console...er PC, the Steam Deck. So what does this mean for Valve and could it change the landscape of gaming?

In other news, we have another Tencent acquisition and Ubisoft announced a new Tom Clancy game.

In Playing and Watching, we’re light on games, but have a semi serious Space Jam: A New Legacy conversation. Speaking of Space Jam, MJC recorded a special episode dedicated to the new movie over at on his movie podcast, Every Movie Ever which can be found at EveryMovieEver.zone

Dave and MJC are here to share their opinions on the recent PlayStation State of Play, The future of Lost Judgement and what they think Assassin’s Creed Infinity might turn out to be.

In Playing and Watching, there’s some light Black Widow and Mythic Quest talk since we are both playing random games while we wait for the next big video game release.

Busy week with PlayStation acquiring a PC focused studio and announcing a Deathloop focused State of Play. Plus Nintendo finally announced their next Switch...kinda. We have a new Nintendo Switch coming, but the specs aren’t quite up to the level of a Professional title. Then we dive into the latest rumors about Kojima signing a deal with Xbox and what that means for the crazy Abandoned game rumors.
