That's rite, Season 3 will be Shin Megami Tensei: Persona (PSP), and we'll also be hosting a monthly stream titled Persona the 4th where (you guessed it) we play Person 4 Golden!!! The back half is our personal highlights of the year from games to movies to music. The game *finally* delivers on the promise of the two storylines interacting somewhat as we barrel towards the climax, and our betrayers begin to receive their various comeuppances. Once upon a time, DJ Khaled got lost on a jet ski at night (this may or may not have been the same time he jet ski'd (?) over to Future's house only to find out he wasn't home). The trials and tribulations of this episode mirror that of Khaled's nighttime Sea-Doo Saga as we briefly become a speck lost amidst a layercake of moments in spacetime across mulitple planes of reality. Erstwhile, the body count continues to rise as new layers of betrayal and intrigue get pealed back.

The time travel arc is in full effect as we bounce back and forth between exotic points in spacetime including our ruined future, present day Limbo, past tense Heaven, and a public park across many timelines. You ever wonder what it would be like if the PSP could still connect to modern wifi? What kind of shenangians you'd get into? Who you'd end up meeting at get togethers for folx who still play Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror online? Oh we also finally get to meet Imperius (in a flashback) and that whole scene plays out rather poorly for us!

A very special episode where we cover McSwain guitars, freeze dried fruits, and how The Lamb Of God Guy wound up jailed in Eastern Europe. Don't worry though, we do make some headway in the game as well by clearing a couple more time rifts and putting together a plan of attack to rescue Lena from Imperius. We also learn something Very Upsetting about The Resistance's upper management! We may or may not learn this information in future heaven? Or maybe it's actually present limbo? The time skipping is frequent yet ultimately inconsequential here.

Now that we've been given another grip of time chains and pointed in the direction of the Ice Temple, it's time to finally hit the ice biome! The Icy Aces task us with aiding in the rescue of King Icy from the clutches of the Imperial forces, we get a fun taste of the ol' "demons in the chest", and we play a fun little minigame of chip's challenge in the ice dungeon. Later, we make our way through some new (to me) areas you might recognize from Justin's playthrough of Light Version! The game begins to remind us that it is, in fact, still a Shin Megami Tensei game, and we brush up against the focal point of the back half of the narrative. That's right baby, we're time traveling. Oh boy.
