Isaiah 55:9 KJV "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Sometimes we experience darkness in the middle of the day. Most of the time some clouds have rolled over us that block out the blue sky and sunlight. This happens to us spiritually also. We have to take the word of God and soar up in His Spirit above the clouds of our carnal thinking.

Psalms 1:1-3 KJV "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

The things of this world do not have the power to satisfy us. Not the list of the eyes, flesh or the pride of life. Only Jesus can bring that deep soulical satisfaction. What's your source? John 4:14 KJV "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

Sometimes great faith is evidenced by few words in prayer. God is a good Father and delights in answering our prayers and meeting our needs. I believe we dishonor God when we don't ask or bring our petitions to Him because we feel like He won't hear us. Just ask! 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 KJV "And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested." 1 Kings 18:36-37 KJV "And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O Lord , hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again." Luke 23:42-43 KJV "And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."

Ever found yourself busy doing what seems like nothing Fruitful? Sometimes in our walk with God we can get so encumbered by much serving that we forget what is really important. This was the case with Martha (Luke 10:38). We must learn to abide in Christ and allow his life, his presence to empower and animate our daily activities. I pray this will bless you. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Sometimes it feels like there is a war going on in our mind. There is conflict, cognitive dissonance between what God said and what we want to do as far as righteousness and what our flesh wants to do, which is opposite to the promise. Romans 4:18-20 KJV "Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;" John 6:63 KJV "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." Galatians 5:17 KJV "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." Romans 8:6 KJV "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."

The bible is very emphatic about the second birth, it is written, you "must be born again" (John 3:7). The question then arises, "what about the thief on the cross?" He was not baptized and he did not receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. At least the bible doesn't disclose that to us. This video is an answer to that question.
