Well, 2020 has started with a bit of a bang hasn't it? This mix is made entirely of tracks from the first five weeks of 2020 and the last week of 2019 and there are some proper bangers in here so turn it up and enjoy!

There is just so much good Disco-inspired dance music around at the moment that it seemed rude not to mix some of it up for your listening pleasure.

This week, I've decided to go tougher and darker than I have for a few weeks. Turn it on, turn it up and enjoy some Tech House goodness!

This Friday (17th) Aloof returns to the Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath; this is the night that inspired me to go a bit Disco last year so it seemed rude not to do a Disco-inspired mix this week. So, put it on, turn it up and if you're in the Birmingham area, come along to Aloof at the Hare & Hounds!

This week I've gone back in time a bit to the Jackin' House sound of the mid-2010s; this is the sound that really reignited my love of House music after a few years in the dad rock wilderness; it's fun, it's great to dance to and it's got a donk on it! What more could you want?!
I must confess to this not being my finest mix technically; I've been a bit under the weather this week and it shows a little in places. However, the tracks are banging and I figured it was better to get a new mix out than no mix; I hope the few rough edges don't spoil your enjoyment of some absolutely cracking tracks!

My first mix of 2020 looks back to the early days of House and features a few remixes and reworking of early House classics including the very first House track I (and millions more) latched onto and loved. In that regard, it's a reflection of days gone by but it also a look to the future and the mix wraps up with some really forward looking Tech House passion. Get involved!

My final mix for 2019 is a selection of the finest up-front Tech House around at the moment topped off with a couple of classics to wrap the mix and the year up nicely. For that reason, I'm releasing this a few days early so you have something new for your New Year's Eve celebrations. Have fun, people and thanks for all the support in 2019!
