A business is a work in progress. The success we see in someone's virtual clinic took years of tinkering to appear so. That's okay, as long as you can keep it fun, take your time, and enjoy the tinkering process. 

In fact, successful marketing is all about tinkering. And my Virtual Practice brand which started out as a telehealth practice for rock climbers, later became a practice aimed at diabetics, and then became a more primary care based practice and I finally now have it dialed in (for now) as a practice that is geared towards those who want to maintain wellness and prevent chronic disease.

Putting yourself in the shoes of the patient who finds you will help you figure out how to advertis to them and how to help them. Content creation is the key to reach the right audience. It isn't easy competition with all of the people who area creating content online but you'd be amazing at how short-lived most brands are. 

Be the person who will keep putting out fresh content for the next 15, 20, and 30 years. Imagine the impact.

Setting 3 price points will give all your patients the opportunity to partake in your practice. It might be a bit more work for you but at least you won't scare away the person who is worried about a $500 sticker shock. 

3 price points means you have different levels for different people - inclusivity. 

3 price levels means you have 3 different packages based on what you think will make you the most effective.If having a membership model with 2,000 people at $100 per month makes the most sense and is the best use of your time, that's what you should push.

A bit of an epiphony perhaps, or just yet another tinkering move, I decided to redesign the way I run my Digital Nomad Health practice. Though I like the current practice model, which is a subscription based practice, I often end up with more traditional primary care patients. Even when I advertise a more disease-prevention practice, I get patients with chronic diseases.

The important thing about building a solid virtual practice is constantly tinkering until you get it just right. The patients you get are a good indication as to who likes what you're advertising. Changing your voice, message, and content often helps reach a different audience.

So ... here I go:

1. change the website layout
2. change my prices
3. write content to explain what I'm doing
4. delete old content
5. run new advertising campaigns
6. research new content topics
