Welcome to Episode 16!
Brandy Aubé is a metal-working Wonder Woman from the great state of Louisiana and does some amazing stuff! We had a great conversation about her passion, her design sensibilities, and a few other fun things which you'll just have to listen to find out. It was a fun conversation and Brandy is definitely someone you should be following on the soshes.

Welcome to Episode 14!
We're back! Ethan and I are back way earlier than planned, and this week it's just hanging out talking making, an old thing I heard that bugged me, talking about growing a social presence as a maker, our audience overlap, running, and lots of other stuff. It's a fun hang and we hope you like it.
Enjoy the episode!!

Welcome to episode 13!
This week's episode is the season finale of Because We Make. It gets a little emotional at the beginning (and the end) but then Vincent and Ethan have the pleasure of talking to Sharon from Figments Made, who is certifiably one of the nicest people ever. No joke. We talk about Project Egress, making, combining art and making and what the movement means to us. Enjoy the episode!!

Welcome to episode 12!
After a week of constant failures, something good came out of it for Vincent, so Ethan and Vincent decided to talk about the good that can come out of experimentation and failure. Be not afraid of failure, my friends.
Enjoy the episode!!

Welcome to episode 11!
We use the term "artisan" rather casually but my guest this week, Ethan Carter, is truly an artisan. He's an amazingly talented leather worker and also has some great skills with woodworking. Sort of a making renaissance man. We talked about his history, how he eschewed YouTube for Instagram and how Instagram is possibly more important for makers than YouTube, and all sorts of other topics.

Welcome to episode 10! A milestone episode! Thank you so much for sticking around on this journey with me!
If I could pinpoint the guy who started it all, it would be Bob Clagett. Saying he's an inspiration to me is the biggest understatement I'll ever make in this podcast and having him on the podcast and being able to talk to him for as long as I did is going to go down as a highlight in my career as podcaster as well as a maker. It's also special for me to drop this episode today since today would have been my dad's 71st birthday, and people like Bob have inspired me in ways that help me honor my dad every time I enter my shop.
We talked about everything; Bob's new farm, making, the evolution of his YouTube channel and brand, and what it means to be part of this movement. I even kept the fanboying to a minimum. Oh who am I kidding. I tried to. It's hard, though.

Welcome to episode 9! This week I had the honor of speaking to one of the first YouTube makers I ever followed, the amazing and talented Keith Decent. In this episode we talk about making, creativity, art, and what makes the community known as the maker movement special! Note: The audio from the recording was completely jacked, so things might sound a little off and I apologize for that, but I managed to save the episode and in the end that's all that matters, right?

Welcome to episode 8! If you're a woodworker, and you watch woodworking videos on YouTube, there's a pretty good chance you watch Steve Carmichael's videos, and I had the distinct honor of talking to him this week. We spoke about everything from woodworking to music to his time in a cover band and even his evolution on YouTube. It was a blast talking to someone whose work I've enjoyed for so long and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Welcome to episode 7! It was a distinct honor this week to speak to Steve Ramsey to whom I owe a great deal. One of the reasons I call myself a woodworker today is my being a part of his Weekend Woodworker course and getting a solid foundation in woodworking from a great teacher. In this episode we talk about woodworking, the current climate of tool collection and tribalism, and Steve's out of the box philosophy on making woodworking as accessible to the masses as possible.
