First were, Panama Leaks in April 2016 and later in October 2021, Pandora Papers. As Usual such information is released by hard working, dedicated and truth seeking journalists. All media across the board starts talking about it, few well known names get exposed for corruption and resultantly very few resign to save their dignity and the rest know, world will forget all about it in few days. Well that can be debated too, I guess.
In the next few podcasts, we will attempt to explain details of Pandora papers in simple language.

Bushra Rehman is well known and acclaimed Urdu language writer born in Bahawalpur Pakistan. Her style of writing is engaging and heartfelt. Bushra Rehman's list of Afsanas, Novels and articles is endless.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bushra Rehman in Lahore at her home. this episode is about the time spent with Bushra, talking about her work and sharing sweet memories of my late brother Dildar Pervaiz Bhatti.
This was my first ever experience of meeting an accomplished writer before reading her work. I was so mesmerised by her way of conversation, could listen to her for hours. When I read her work, which she gave me as present, it was so interesting to read as if I am not reading but Bushra is narrating the story to me.
They say, you can get glimpses of a writer in their work. which is true except that when we read such work, we can only imagine.
However, in my case since I have already met her, I didn't have to imagine anything. As Bushra's novels and short stories are about social issues very much the core of our society, anyone can relate to them. Bushra has written many best seller that are about social and cultural topics, tragedies, relationships and tender loving moments of her characters.
It was delightful for me because reading provoked so many questions for me as I could see so much of Bushra's in her stories.
Future episodes will have some excerpts from Bushra Rehman's writings so to tantalise your taste buds.
Please give us your thoughts as well as share your experience of meeting a writer. How did you feel about the writer's work, before and after you were lucky enough to cross paths with them.

Have you tried to teach Urdu alphabets to a six years old, who is learning English in School, watching TV in English, parents speak English at home.
Wow, that is a task in itself, almost an uphill battle when you can not teach them little by lttle every day.
Here is benefit of a sleep over. You wake up and try a quick lesson before breakfast.
If nothing else, it is very enjoyable, you should try to taste this delightful session with any such children at home, who speak English at school but dont know Urdu language.
Dildar Pakistan attempts to reach all, who speak and understand Urdu language but don't have access or time to read rich literature of this beautiful language. We have created this, "Gosha-e-Mazmoon" to bring essays, articles, chapters and excerpts from Urdu literature. As a matter of fact we have been doing just that, if you have listened to previous podcasts. The first series was going to be articles, compilation from my later brother Dildar Pervaiz Bhatti's book, "Amna Samna". However, for me this is still the feature segment for a special publication.
