Pastor Jim Howard begins a series for the amphitheater - Identity Theft... of Jesus. In John Chapter 1, vs. 14, The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. The true light! What is an example of a "good" father? One that is proud; full of grace and truth; trustworthy. We have nothing to fear... we should have confidence that God is very gracious. He is very passionate about us... He sent His Sond to dwell among us and then die on the cross for us!

Pastor Jim Howard asks us why did they kill Jesus? Jesus "turned on the light switch" and this upset the Jews. He challenged them to give up their old ways and attacked their national symbols such as the Sabbath, sacrifices, priesthood and the temple. By His death, there was no need for the physical temple. Jesus and His followers (us) would become the true spiritual temple.

Jim Howard continues his series of a "Brave New World" and discusses the topic of ethnicity. God created all of us and there are two significant implications: 1. God cannot be fully known until every ethnic group is heard from. We need to listen and pay attention. 2. God cannot be fully experienced until we act as priests and sacrifices in each others lives.

Jim Howard continues with "Brave New World" series with discussing the value of women... Women are to be seen as equal to men and not under the authority of men and property. We should make sure that women feel honored and they are influential in the decision-making process. The new model of the church/the mission of God should be complete surrender of each of us and everything we all do is for the best interest of the church so that we can reach a world so desperately in need of love.
