Elon Musk elaborated a little about his Mars plans, and they sound less good than ever. Also, he had COVID during a momentous week for his company, which is kinda funny.

The silver medal recipient is once again Rudy Giuliani.

Elon Musk took a COVID test, and then three more. Does he have the potentially lethal "COVID Fever" everyone's been talking about lately? Probably!

Elon was also the subject of a Vanity Fair profile that was less hard-hitting than the author likely intended. But Elon remains a ding-dong for the ages. 

And back for a record third time: Rudy Giuliani. What a bonehead that guy turned out to be.

It's election week. Joe Biden looks to be the winner, but Elon Musk was elected to four more years of being Ding-Dong of the Week! He got bullied online, and then whined that the person making fun of him was a "chad," and was celebrated by the Wall Street Journal as the new kid on the block in the world of military contractors. We at DDOTW thought there was no way this guy could possibly make it into the show in a week so dense with news, but Elon had other plans.

In the fine print of the terms of service for Elon Musk's new internet service provider, SpaceX revealed Elon's plan for a lawless corporate utopia on Mars. It sounds bad in our opinion!

It’s a big week for ding-dongs in America, and many, many ding-dongs show up on this episode. But the winner is Elon Musk. Elon has announced that Teslas can now drive themselves, except for a very, very, very long disclaimer. Also, he loves naked American displays of hard power in Latin America, which makes it all the funnier when they fail.

This week the Ding-Dong is Elon Reeve Musk, a famous business tycoon from South Africa who is building a company town in Texas on top of an existing community. As you might expect, he'd like the people there to leave. He also doesn't seem to be doing a fantastic job of building cars or launching rockets, unfortunately.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk talked to Kara Swisher for a long time this week about life, the universe and everything. The conversation touched on AI, cars, Trump, and Musk's admiration for noted philosopher Douglas Adams.

This week's Ding-Dong is billionaire Elon Musk! Elon's announcement of new battery technology was a pretty big letdown, and the idea to Tom Cruise in space (which, to be fair, probably wan't his idea) is maybe not great.

It's Elon Musk again! He uses news events to make headlines by promising things that never materialize—in this case it was the West Coast wildfires. And he doesn't seem to have a good rebuttal to a tweet from Bernie Sanders, although he does have a bewilderingly worded one.
