The Philadelphia region’s longstanding regional nightmare is over, as the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell’s efforts to ban the tush-push came up two votes short during the league’s meeting in Minnesota.

After former Eagles center Jason Kelce flew to Minnesota to lobby owners against voting to ban the play, the tush-push survived after a 22-10 vote to ban it.
