It's Monday - you're going to Mary Mac's Tea Room at 224 Ponce de Leon Ave. This old fashioned southern comfort food restaurant has famously been around since 1945. It's an Atlanta institution known for it's fried chicken. It's the kind of place where your server is going to call you baby and give you a back rub like she's your grandma.

You're going to Lee's Bakery at 4005 Buford Hwy.

This is a can't miss casual Vietnamese spot. They are famous for their affordable and delicious Ban Mi sandwiches. Even Zagat and the New York Times are talking about their Ban Mi. But their traditional pho and congee dishes are great too so you really can't go wrong. Pick up a loaf of their house made french bread on your way out and enjoy it at home.

Have you ever had Vietnamese and Cajun fusion? Neither have I and that's why were going here tonight. This Viet-Cajun seafood restaurant has a menu featuring a huge variety of seafood boil combos, chicken wings and traditional Vietnamese pho, noodle and rice dishes. I don't know about you, but I'm intrigued. Can't wait to check this one out.

Did you really think I wasn't going to send you to get Tacos on Tuesday while we're on Buford Highway? Come on! This is place is the real deal with a menu entirely in Spanish. It's an affordable, casual Mexican joint with menu items such as classic tacos, flautas and ceviche tostadas.
