It's yet another Andy week for you all (aren't you lucky little duckies?), with reviews of monster box office smash 'Booksmart' and small plucky comedy 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters'. Both are new this week and Andy gives his views on whether they are worth checking out while Alex just sits and listens.
Guys I'm not apologising here or anything but this week is jam-packed with 4 reviews and a bunch of hot fresh news nuggets to boot. So prepare for a podcast overload of film related stuff. We cover the big releases of the week in Disney's 'Aladdin' and the Elton John inspired 'Rocketman' as well as discussing a couple of lower key releases 'The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot' and 'The Perfection'.
We're back to a double film week this time on the podcast, our reviews for both 'John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum' and 'Thunder Road' are coming up today alongside our usual news round up where we discuss casting for 'The Batman' and 'Game of Thrones' petitions.
Find us wherever you get your podcasts and tweet us @dinosaurman15 to get ahead of the news.
It's just the one review this week, but don't think that means it's a short one. Andy bangs on about Pokemon as much as you'd expect while Alex just sits and listens patiently. Lots of jokes and lots of exclusive instagram content. Fill your boots!
With a couple of films far less Marvel-y than the current behemoth occupying the top spot of the box office (by some distance).
Natalie Portman plays a pop star born out of tragedy in Brady Corbet's 'Vox Lux', a film that takes aim at the media and it's obsession with knocking down figures that they themselves have set up. This tangentially relates to the focus of 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile' a film which follows the trial of Ted Bundy (played by Zac Efron here).
Welcome to this lengthy and spoiler filled discussion of Avengers: Endgame in which we discuss all aspects of the film. If you have yet to see it, skip this episode until you do as we leave no stone unturned and all spoilers well and truly spoiled. Alex and Andy are joined by Marc and Anthony to form their own team of Avengers on this mammoth episode.
We return to provide you with reviews of two hot and fresh box office smash hits as well as your weekly helping of entertainment news to get you through the week. First of all we talk about James Bond 25, X Men in space and The Defenders before going on to discuss our big review of the most hotly anticipated film event of the year, 'Avengers: Endgame'. We go spoiler free today so you can listen without fear of ruining any surprises, we have a longer spoiler filled episode coming midweek. Alex also discusses Bo Burnham's 'Eighth Grade' which has received a considerably smaller release.
We're back with the conclusion of our MCU recap in anticipation of the impending release of Avengers: Endgame. This episode takes us right up to the events of the most recent entry 'Captain Marvel', time will tell how important a role Carol Danvers will play in the events of this era-ending film but we'll be back to discuss that in full next week.
With the biggest event in comic book movie history just around the corner we thought that our beloved listeners may benefit from a recap on the events in the MCU up until this point. Unfortunately Andy left it up to Alex to remember the key moments and this may have been an unwise choice. We cover the films from Iron Man until Avengers: Age of Ultron with Part 2 coming this time next week.
Alex and Andy return with a review of the most hotly anticipated comic book film of the year, Hellboy! The David Harbour starring reboot has just hit the cinemas and (Hell) Boy oh boy is it a film. Also discussed is all the news from Star Wars Celebration including the trailer for 'Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker'
