On only one occasion Paul uses the term AMBASSADOR to describe the nature of his calling.

I believe that this metaphor  more than any other he used gives us rare insight into how Paul was able to persevere in the face of so much personal suffering.

All ambassadors have something called DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY. This immunity is only possible because ambassadors live in one place but are resourced from another.

We are Ambassadors of heaven but we have not understood or enjoyed our diplomatic immunity. If there was ever a time to grasp this concept it’s now!
