I have a good feeling about this! Star Wars month keeps chugging along, as Don & Steven join the pod to discuss our favorite Scruffy Looking Nerfherder's origin story movie from 2018. We have a non spoiler portion in the beginning, then we punch this pod into lightspeed and get to all the good spoiler filled discussions we all know and love. We discuss the lore of Solo, our thoughts on how it performed in the box-office, the reviews, and whether we think this would have been better if it went to streaming instead of the big screen. You are on the clock! The newest podcast game is here as Max, Steven, & host Spencer fantasy draft movie characters to build the best teams for some of the most iconic movie scenarios of all time! The first draft of the night has each of us drafting our dream Zombie Apocalypse team, and the second draft is focused on building the best Kickboxer/ Mortal Kombat/ Bloodsport/ Karate Kid style fighting team. The rules are simple: Only one character per movie franchise for each team, and anyone you can think of from a movie is eligible. So, start making your draft boards, scout the talent by watching some classic films, and let the draft begin!

Well... That was a bit rough, wasn't it? Liz is back on to discuss our predictions, which one of us won, and all of the winners (and losers) of the Oscars this year. This is a short episode, so we have titled it Bonus Features, like all of the wacky outtakes & deleted scenes you see on a DVD/ Blu Ray. We made our list out of order, but we really didn't expect the Academy to copy us and announce the final winners out of order. We go through each category and discuss the nominees, the films they starred in, and make predictions on who we think takes home a tiny golden man on a little pedestal. Hear us gush over Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, struggle to describe the brilliance (and plot) of Promising Young Woman, and bring up Mank too many times for one episode. Will we be right? Will we be completely off base? Who knows except the people listening to this episode after the Oscars are handed out. We will discuss their filmographies from 1994-2004, and seeing the similar trends each actor followed. This episode we will start with Jim, covering his meteoric rise in 1994 with The Mask, Dumb & Dumber, & Ace Ventura, and then ending with in 2004 with 2 completely different projects: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind & A Series of Unfortunate Events. Plus, we discuss everything in-between, and see how similar & different these 2 comedy icons really are. This episode is a lot of fun, and that's the truth... because we cannot lie. 

Llllllet's get ready to rumble! It's a movie fight years in the making (and no... we don't count the one from the 60s where we see Kong stuff a tree down Godzilla's throat). Steven is here with me to review and discuss some of the pros and cons we saw from this movie, some of our favorite scenes, and what y'all are here to talk about: watching a Giant Monkey fight a Radioactive Lizard. There are some flaws that we touch up on in the spoiler filled second half of the episode, but the first portion is a simple spoiler free review if you are still on the fence on this one. But, I think having the opportunity to see the fight of every kid's dreams on the big screen is worth a watch. So, in the immortal words of Dr. Ishiro Serizawa (AKA the best character in the series): Let Them Fight.

The wait is over! We finally watched the almost mythical Snyder Cut of Justice League, and we have thoughts. Listen for the first 20 minutes where we do a spoiler free discussion of what the Snyder Cut is, how it came to be, some of our thoughts. Then, we get into spoiler territory for the last hour of the podcast. We go in depth with what was good (Cyborg), what was bad (The score), and what was weird (Why did that girl sniff Aquaman's clothes?). We did not Snyder Cut this episode, so it is not 4 hours long and no re-recordings were done to this Pod.
