The episode you've all been asking for is FINALLY here!!
Join us as we finish our countdown of the greatest in Stephen King adaptations with a discussion on the very first (and very greatest) King Movie, our namesake here at Dirty Pillows : CARRIE!!
We ask the tough questions, analyze the filmmaking and Krys performs his favorite monologue of all time.
Your boys, Krys and Matty take Carrie White to Prom and we do in fact laugh, a LOT.
Also included in this episode we talk PET SEMETARY, THE BATMAN, and all those CARRIE remakes and her ill begotten Broadway Musical.
If you also worship the altar (in the closet) of Margaret White, Brian DePalma, Sissy Spacek, Nancy Allen and Julianne Moore, you are gonna soak in this like last night's pigs blood.
So what are you waiting for? We're off like a prom dress to revisit a classic horror film beloved by the queer community, the film that showed bullies just how bad it could be if you mess with the wrong witch. Carrie has been waiting patiently for her time in the podcast spotlight for over a year and we promise it was worth the wait.
So grab some Pork Rings and a Bloody Mary and enjoy our Stephen King Finale!
Oh! And please make sure you wear something that shows off your dirty pillows! Preferably something red. (I might have known it would be red) Cuz we love you, to death.

Let's talk about everyone's favorite creep, Horror Uncle to our generation, Stephen King!
In this episode, Krys and Matty discuss some of the many film adaptations of the prolific Mr. King. The best, the worst, and the goodies in between.
Join us for a fun trip through the decades as we talk killer cars, black out genius, our mom's Kathy Bates and Dee Wallace, the Curse of the Stevie Cameo and do really bad Christopher Walken impressions (and really good Drew Barrymore impressions).
We also talk the many upcoming reboots, which for once, actually sound kinda good, and discuss his many tv miniseries'.. from Salem's Lot, The Stand and It. There's so much to say about this man who continues to give us all so much terror so let's jump in and get spooky!
In fact, it's so much to delve into, we had to leave the rest for next week! That's right!
Coming up: a WHOLE DAMN EPISODE devoted to our namesake, Miss CARRIE White, herself. Tune into Part 2 next Friday!

Listen at your own risk....

Last Friday, Krys, Matty and fellow Halloween Enthusiast, Lancelot went to an 11am showing of HALLOWEEN KILLS. What follows on this recording is a harrowing time capsule of a simpler time. A time when the horror community was still fighting over Malignant, before the (Yellow) Iron Lady, before the absolutely polarizing social media fights... a time when three queer people were bursting with excitement for a new Michael Myers movie.
So full of the joys of life that they ran home and recorded a two hour conversation about all things HALLOWEEN. From the 1978 classic, to Season of the Witch, to Rob Zombie's contributions, all the way to 2018 and the sequel out this week, Krys, Matty and SPECIAL GUEST, artist Lancelot Runge argue, laugh, geek out, reminisce and rate all the PURE EVIL, Black Lifeless Eyes, like a doll's eyes (no no that's JAWS, sorry).. we rate all the Halloween Films and review HALLOWEEN KILLS.
