We speak about diversity, equity and inclusion a lot on The Shortlist because it is such an important thing for every organization to drive. Workplaces need to be environments where ALL people can feel comfortable, accommodated and free from prejudice and discrimination. But we know there is still so much to be done on this front, and it’s crucial to dig into each specific cohort to understand the unique challenges people can face when seeking opportunity. So, this week, we’ll be looking at DE&I specifically through the lens of disability. To help us do this, we’re delighted to welcome Christabelle Feeney, the Director of Employers for Change at The Open Doors Initiative, to the show. Christabelle will be discussing how organizations need to become more accessible for people with disabilities, the importance of continuous learning and how we can support individuals to maximize their potential and create opportunity.
