Welcome, today during our second talk on Meditation, I will walk us through a practice exercise of meditation. Meditation is a type of prayer. We are seeking to spend time with God. My definition of prayer is spending time with God, or communing with Jesus. Come join me as we listen to scripture and wait on the Spirit.
Pick out a verse that moves you. Say each word slowly let each word sink from your mind into your heart. Feel the words. Speak the word or words aloud to God. Ponder the meaning. Could God be offering more than what you noticed at first? Is there more?

Is the idea of Spiritual Exercises challenging me or frustrating me?
Before I did the exercise, when was the last time I heard or felt the Holy Spirit move in me?Spend time with God each day. Allow at least 5 minutes a day to listen. As you sit in stillness, what bubbles up in your soul?
