Removing The Religious Glasses.

A series on deciphering false doctrines.

Today we have many false doctrines and traditions of men in the body of Christ. This, however, is not new, false doctrines and man's traditions have been among us since the beginning.

Jesus rebuked the religious Jews for their traditions (Mark 7).

The Apostle Paul warned about false teachers (savage wolves) rising up from the saints that he had discipled (Acts 20:29-31).

In this episode, I will introduce you to what you can learn from the series of episodes that will decipher some of these false doctrines that are hindering so many of Gods people from walking in the fullness of God.

• #4 false doctrine - Where 2 or 3 are gathered in My name I am there in the midst (9:59) People have believed that this is about prayer. It has nothing to do with prayer!

• #5 false doctrine - I'm under attack. The devil is attacking me. (11:00) This one is possibly the worse of all.

• #6 false doctrine - Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church. What is Paul talking about (12;34) If we read the context, we will see it clearly.

• #7 false doctrine - Get born again then receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit. (a baptism of fire) so you can do the works of God. (14:07) If you don't have the Holy Spirit, then you are not born again. If you do have the Spirit, then you can do the works of Christ.

• #8 false doctrine - Baptism of fire. (14:06) This false doctrine has and is hindering more Christians from bearing fruit for God.

I Saw Jesus,

and He Taught Me To Do This.

My interview with a medical doctor.

When I started going on the Esplanade in the city of Cairns ( my home town ) back in December of 2015, with the Free Healing Sign, the Lord immediately began to bring people ( both visitors and locals ) to be healed and to hear the gospel.

Since that time I have seen many people healed, born again and discipled. All glory to Jesus.

In January this year, the Lord brought a woman from Papua New Guinea to be healed. She is a medical doctor from Chile in South America who was working for 'Doctors without borders' a humanitarian organisation and was assigned to PNG.

During her time there she got Pleurisy and was flown for an emergency procedure to Cairns Private Hospital.

After 3 days in the hospital ( still sick ) she went for a walk in town and she came across the Free Healing sign, sat down, met the Holy Spirit and was instantly healed. Praise God.

That night when she went back to her accommodation, she had a dream of the Lord Jesus.

In the dream, the Lord told her that He was there to cure her. He also showed her from the dream something that was really profound.

The reason I wanted to interview Selene about her dream is because what the Lord revealed to her also relates to all of us.

I'm Back!

Why the absense.

Hey saints, it's great to be back on the podcast again.

So what's been happening?

Note : There are links to all the videos and episodes that I talk about in the description below.

2019 has been a remarkable year with the Lord.

Salvation, healing and discipleship has increased through last year and it continues through this one.

In this episode I take you back to 2017 and talk to you about how this podcast started from a single room where I was living alone, after my wife had separated from me. ( which the Lord later reconciled ).

During that time of separation, I decided to really trust God for everything. So I left the place I was renting and dared to trust God. I became homeless. ( Allthough those of us in Christ are never really homeless ). The Lord immediately started providing for me with a car, a place to sleep, food, water, money, everything I needed. As the episodes of the podcast continued, I was led to make some videos during my time out in the bush living by faith.

Then in November 2019 the Lord had prompted me to make a kickstart seminar series on video.

What is a kickstart seminar?

A kickstart seminar is a 2 or sometimes 3 day event where we invite Christians to come along and be taught what is a disciple of Christ, how to heal the sick, cast out demons, preach the gospel and make disciples. They will be taken on the street and really experience God working with and through them.

So as the Lord led, I have done 11 videos on the kickstart seminar. They are taught in a way that would be taught in a live event only they are one to one, myself and the viewer. ( I've also added a few bonuses to the series ).

So because I have given a lot of time to studying and implementing the videos, the podcast was on hold for a while. But praise God now we have even more reach to the lost and to the saints who need discipleship.

The podcast and videos will continue ( now that I have learned how to do both ). It's all for Jesus sake and the commission He has given us all to fulfil.

How To Walk In The Love And Peace Of God.

Today there are many beloved brethren who do not have a real sense of God's love for them.

Because of this so many of God's people are depressed and anxious, and have no peace in their hearts or minds.

In this episode I explain why that is and how to change it.

There are principles that we must understand and live by in order to walk in all the fullness of God. (including the love of God).

Jesus has given us His Word on how to live in the reality of His and the Fathers love for us. The apostles Paul and John also give us insight of how to really know the love of God toward us.

Some of what I speak on.

• The love of God HAS BEEN

poured out in our hearts. (1:39)

To really walk in the love of God for us, there are requirements that we need to understand.

• What are those requirements. What Jesus said. (2:33)

• What the apostle John said. (8:50)

The apostle Paul in his letter to the Episians prays for the saints that they would know the width, length, height and depth of His love.

• Why? (10:26)

• What Paul said in Colosians and Philippians about how to walk in this love and peace. (13:10)

Episode 16.

Exercising Godliness.

It's profitable for all things!

Today there is so much emphasis on physical exercise, ( the health and wellness industry is a billon dollar industry ).

It a great thing that more and more people are wanting to improve their health.

I truly believe in being diligent in our health is important, so that we can have the energy and strength to serve the Lord and our fellow man. For the apostle Paul said that bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things. 1 Tim 4:8

So godliness that is profitable for all things (which would include your physical health), is where is need to give our attention to.

The apostle Peter said to the saints (us) that we are to be diligent to add to our faith virtue, knowledge, self control, perseverance (patience), godliness, brotherly kindness, love. And if we do these things we will never stumble. 1 Peter 1:5-7,10.

** So the question is** 'WHAT IS GODLINESS'

If it is not virtue or knowledge or self control or perseverance or brotherly kindness or love, then what is it.

We need to know what this is that is profitable for all things. So that we can walk in all the fullness of God.

As we look at the life of Jesus we see that He was very godly, also we can see from the apostle Paul his godliness.

Both of them showed the example that we are to follow. The Lord Jesus said that those who believed in Him would do the works that He did. (those who would receive the Holy Spirit).

The apostle Paul said imitate me as I imitate Christ. The way to do this is by living and walking in godliness.

So in this episode I explain what is godliness and how to walk in it, giving examples from the Lord Jesus, the apostles Paul and Peter and examples from my own life and that of my family.

• How do we do this? - 2 things we must be diligent in.(28:13)

• A testimony from my life concerning my health - conseccrate your body to God. (29:41)

• God will use you in the miraculous when you obey Him. (33:23)

Episode 15.

The Fear Of The Lord.

A wife's testimony of fear and trembling.

Today we have a lot of teaching about the grace of God. But we hear almost nothing about the fear of God. To only have the grace of God is like driving your car in the ditch on the one side of the road.

We need to have and understand both the fear of God and the grace of God in order to live a fruitful balanced life. (driving in the middle of the road).

Today there are many of God's people who are living in sin with no repentance because of this unbalanced doctrine.

As we read the epistles of Paul we see that the apostle warns us not to be like those who where in the wilderness. 1 Cor 10.

Also that we are all going to stand before the judgement seat of Christ.. ''Therefore knowing the terror of the Lord.'' 2 Cor 5

In 1 Cor 5 Paul commands the saints to hand over a brother who is living in sin, to Satan for the destruction of his flesh. WHY? so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. (he repent).

Plus many more scriptures to confirm that we are to have a fear of the Lord.

In this episode I interview my wife who recently had experienced a strong fear of the Lord, that not only changed her but also brought deliverance to our daughter from rebellion.

• A dream that our son had. A WARNING. and a word from God to Donna. Very profound. (6:38)

• God says to those in the new covenant to repent or judgement is coming. (10:23)

• Brought to her face in fear and trembling. (11:41)

Ep.14

What About The Thief On The Cross? He was not baptized!

This is a question that almost always comes up when I am speaking to people (church people) about the importance of being baptized to be saved.

Jesus said 'Those who believe and are baptized shall be saved.' Mark 16:16

The apostle Peter on the day of Pentecost stood up and preached, ''Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. And you shall receive the Holy Spirit,'' Acts 2:38

So we see from scripture the need to repent, believe (obey), be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit to be saved.

So what about the thief on the cross.

In the gospel of Luke chapter 23, we read that Jesus was being crucified; and with Him were 2 other criminals led to be put to death. (Matthew's account says that they were two robbers).

We see from verse 39 that one of the criminals blasphemed the Lord while the other acknowledged Him as The Lord and said to Him ''Lord remember me when you come into Your kingdom.'' The Lord Jesus answered him ''Assuredly I say to you today you will be with Me in Paradise.''

So the question is how could that man be saved without being baptized. In order to answer that question we need to understand what it is to be saved, (saved from what). Is Jesus talking about being baptized for eternal salvation (going to heaven) or is He talking of something else.

In this episode I will teach you what that saved is.

What you will learn.

• Reading from Luke 23 (2:39)

• Baptized to be saved (saved from what) (4:18)

• A young man who was struggling with sin (5:11)

• Those who do not get baptized. (6:37)

• An example of being saved from a Queensland lifeguard. He saved many. He never preached the gospel but they were saved. (9:01)

• What about those who die before they are baptized, are they saved. A testimony of a man who did die without being baptized and what he saw before he went. This is a very powerful and beautiful testimony of the goodness of God. (9:12)

• The consequence of willful (deliberately, willfully sinning). (13:52)

• Our body becomes free from sin, clothed with Christ and one with Christ. We get baptized into Christ Jesus. (15:44)

The Law Of Life.

Life to your mortal body.

Today we have people who think they have life but actually they are the walking dead. Jesus said let the dead bury there own dead (Matthew 8:22).

Man in his natural human state is spiritually dead even though he can breath, think and move, he is actually dead.

This is because of a law that man is bound by, that is the law of sin and death. Human beings by default are condemned.

So if merely breathing and existing is not life, What is?

The bible says in Romans 8 that Life is a law, a law that supersedes the law of sin and death. This law of life (that is in Christ Jesus) makes us free.

All of God's creation is governed by laws, and all of the laws that govern, including the ones that govern us! work every time for every person every ware.

Because the law of Life is a law, it by it's very nature will ALWAYS produce life.

In order to live in harmony with a law (so that it works to our advantage) we need to understand how the law functions.

The reason we can fly across the world in planes is because people have discovered a law that supersedes the law of gravity, that is the law of lift.

But just simply discovering it does not make us able to fly. We also need to understand how that law functions. But praise God we do have people who have taken the time to study the characteristics of the law of lift which has benefited all the rest of us.

The laws are for our good.

So in this episode I teach on the characteristics of the Law of Life.

Episode 12.

Can Christians Have Demons.

How You Can Tell.

Is it possible for a born again person to have demons?

Well if I asked the question can Christians have sickness or disease, the answer would be undaughterly yes. Even though Jesus has paid the price for divine health as well as for sin on the cross.

''He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.'' Mathew 8:17

So in answer to the question, can Christians have demons. The answer is Yes they can.

As a minister of the gospel, I have been privileged to minister to many people, both to the redeemed and the unredeemed with divine healing and deliverance from demons.

So I can assure you that Spirit filled, tongue talking Christians can have demons.

There are many today who have been prayed for many times by many different Spirit filled believers, and every time they were prayed for they ended up on the floor screaming and there body shacking or contusing. And yet they have not been delivered from that. The reason is because the people praying ASUMED that it was a demon, so they try to cast it out. TO NO AVAIL.

What is really important to understand is that NOT EVERY MANIFESTAION that a person is experiencing when they are being prayed for is a demon.

So in this episode I will teach you not only why a Christian can have a demon, and how to get set free from that but also how to discern the difference between what is a demon and what is not.

As I go through this episode I give testimonies of some who were set free from their bondage and are now walking in their freedom. Some had been in bondage for a long time because they thought that they had a demon but did not. They needed to be freed from something else.

What I speak about.

• Why can Christians have demons. (3:32)

Many believers today say that a Christian can be oppressed but not possessed. THAT IS NOT TRUE. To be possessed simply means to have a demon.

• Demons can not have ownership of a human being. Plus a testimony of a sister who brought deliverance to a witch and her house, including the family cat. (11:35)

• What does it mean to be oppressed. (18:58)

• Demons can get into a person because of a trauma. A testimony of a women set free from epilepsy. (21:03)

• If you or someone you know has a demon. How to get free. A testimony of a women freed from homosexuality. (24:57)

• My own deliverance and a discernment the Lord gave me to help others to get free. And testimonies of people who were delivered. 2 had a demon, 1 had to renew her mind (and did), 1 boy had a deep hurt in the soul. All 4 had manifestations that looked demonic when prayed for. How to know the difference. (31:01)

• Don't just assume things. Have compassion and be hearing from God. (40:59)

• Closing comments . (42:52)

Note..

One thing I forgot to mention in this episode is the importance of baptism. If you have repented and have received the Holy Spirit but have not been baptized, then your body is still active for sin. (Rom 6) Many people have been delivered from demons in water baptism, because baptism is a death to sin.

Episode 11.

Prayer and Fasting

DOES NOT

Remove Unbelief.

So What Does?

Today a lot of people believe that in order to remove unbelief we must be praying and fasting. That is not so.

This teaching has come from Matthew 17. Were because of the disciples unbelief they could not cast out a demon from a child. (even though they had cast out many demons before that). Then Jesus replied to His disciples with the words, 'this kind does go out except by prayer and fasting'.

However when we read the context we see that the question that the disciples asked the Lord was 'Why could we not cast it (the demon) out'. Not how do we remove unbelief.

So in this episode I will teach you that in order to see the whole picture when we are reading the gospels, it's really important that we read all the gospels. As I take you through God's Word we will see that in Mark's gospel of this account we read a lot more information that we do not see in Matthew's account. But when we put the two gospels together we see the whole picture, and thus get a clear understanding of what the Lord is teaching us.

When we study the life of Jesus, we see that He only did and said what He was instructed from His Father. And thus He was always fruitful.

His disciples however where not always doing that, so therefore they could not cast out that demon.

Because the Lord was always in communion with the Father through prayer, (He would often spend time in solitude praying). He knew what the problem was (the boys father). Because He heard it from His Father God. The disciples did not know that, why? Because they where not praying beforehand.

So from the example of Jesus we see that the only thing that removes unbelief is the Word of God. (what God is saying at that moment).

Some of the things I speak about.

• Reading from Matthew 17 (the child with a demon). (1:41)

• The importance of reading all the gospels. (3:24)

• The same event from Marks gospel. (5:07)

• Why could we not cast it out? A very reasonable question to ask. (8:19)

• Jesus discerned the problem, (which was the unbelief in the boys father). His disciples did not. Why? (9:50)

• Jesus only said and did what he heard from the Father. (12:12)

One of the pitfalls that we can all fall into if we are not careful is that we can act out of our experience of casting out demons, rather than having ears to hear and acting from obedience to the instruction of the Holy Spirit. That pitfall the disciples fell into in this case.

• The Word of God (spoken Word and written Word) removes unbelief. (14:13)

• What the Lord showed me just recently. Very Powerful. (16:33)

• When Jesus was not ministering to people, He was praying. Be like Jesus and the disciples in the book of Acts. Stay in communion with the Holy Spirit. (20:20)
