All humanity is descended from Adam, the first man made by God at the beginning of creation. From Adam, who disobeyed God, we inherit a sinful nature and see its effects everywhere in this fallen world. Yet this is not where the story ends. While we are all born children of Adam, God made a way for us to be reborn as children of God.

Too often our hearts wander from Jesus and his desires for us in order to have what we crave - be that comfort, safety, or the pleasures of this world. But there is no greater place to be than in intimate fellowship with Jesus as we follow where he leads, love what he loves, and leave behind the lesser things that cannot satisfy.

Do you trust God? We often think of trusting God when it comes to hard seasons or making a big decision. Yet trusting God is actually a life choice because God's Word impacts everything. So, what does your life reveal? Do you have trust issues?
