This lesson is focused on the third phase of peace-making - peace with men.

How do we as Christians bring about an atmosphere of peace into personal relationships in the world in which we live?

The study examines the practical study in two phases;

A God's man/woman is a peacemaker. This teaching is focused on the principles - God's sword at His peacemakers and God's showcase of peace.

John 14:27 - Stop allowing yourself to be agitated or disturbed and do not be fearful, intimidated, cowardly or unsettled.

What is peace?

Testimony is when you tell someone what you've seen and heard. 1 John 1:3. Fellowship is unity based on a common heart.

Here are some tests of a Testimony:

- Make it natural and personal

- Make it concise (short enough to listen to but long enough to understand)

- Make it understandable (clean up the religious lingo)

How do we become the witnesses we're meant to be?

Your spiritual gift and personality go into the making of a unique message through which your ministry blossoms forth.

Your ministry involves your witness, your means of discipleship, the kind of service you do and the way you're involved in the body of Christ.

This teaching focuses on the following titles;

- a reminder of our purpose

- a recognition of our placement

- review of our preparation and

- a record of our promise.

In Matthew 5:9 Jesus said: Oh what bliss, what self-contained Joy awaits the man or the woman who assumes His God-given role as a peacemaker. Because He, the maker of peace will be exalted as God's called-out children.

For Jesus says if I became the way of peace, they become the instrument of peace.

Blessed are the peacemakers filled with bliss. Are you a peacemaker?

This is a conclusion part of the series on the study of Christ's calling to be pure in heart.

This lesson deals with the fourth answer to the thought life problem - if the thought life is the accumulation of data from birth, that means we should guard it from birth. We should guard what we expose ourselves to continually.

Here are some basic areas of purifying the heart.

- Prevention: The case for innocence.

- Precaution: What you see is what you get. That is the principle of guarding the eyes. What we look at must be controlled at any cost.

- The business of making a decision on a minute-by-minute basis.

The mind is what you think when you think no one knows what you think. That is the real heart. It is your emotions, how you really feel about God, your parents, husband/wife, children, self, job, circumstances in your life. That's the real heart.

And it's your real will - what you will choose to do in any given situation if there were neither restraint nor consequences. That's your heart and that's what God sees.

God desires that the heart be pure. Pure being;

- Increasingly free from hypocrisy.

- Increasingly motivated only by the love of Christ.

- Having a clear conscience before God and before others and with others.

- Single-minded - learning to reject the devil's lies and accepting the absolutes of scriptures as convictions.

- To have a clean thought life. The entirety of the process that goes on in the mind which include your secret desires, your fantasies, your imaginary conversations and your imaginary experiences.
