This past week for me was stressful as hell for my marriage
My wife and I had a tough time connecting because we just had so much on our plate
Mya's (my daughter) school was on a two-week pause due to covid reasons
We both had heavy work weeks
And my son was giving us the business all week
Which then caused us both to eat and drink a little too much over the weekend
And there you go, we sprinkled a little self-damage on top of it
STRESS is the #1 cause of weight gain my brother
THE NUMBER ONE with anxiety being #2
See the fight against weight-loss isn't fighting a damn diet or fighting lack of motivation
It is fighting against STRESS
Which is why the only way to truly do this lifestyle is to Master what we in Black SuperDad call THE FIGHT
The only true winners in life are those that stay in the fight
We may lose fights but we all know a loss is better than a KO
Getting knocked out can NOT be an option
Dealing with STRESS, dealing with LIFE is inevitable
No matter who you are, or where you are from, or the color of your skin ...... WE ALL GOT TO DEAL WITH SHIT
So trying to prevent dealing with stuff is truly impossible and insanity
But trying to master the FIGHT.....yea that is how we deal with stuff
Fight to be a better father
Fight to be a better husband
Fight to take care of yourself
And please don't misunderstand what I mean
Fighting isn't just saying I am going to fight
Fighting to be a better husband means taking my queen on a 2-day trip (which I did)
Fighting to be a better father means playing with my kids every single day no matter how tired I am
Fighting to take care of myself means working out no matter how demotivated I am
I am going to leave you with some action on what You can do to FIGHT right now bro
1. SELF FIGHT - Start doing 50 pushups per day THAT IS IT
2. MARRIAGE FIGHT - Take your wife to lunch today and look her in the eyes and say BABY I LOVE YOU lol
3. KIDS FIGHT = Take your kids to the park 1 day THIS week and play with them until they pass the hell out
