The family of my friend and contributor to this podcast, Paul Brodie, recently faced tragedy. Paul's father passed away suddenly from a heart attack. His family is dealing with the shock of this sudden loss. His Mom, now widowed, must care for Scott, Paul's autistic brother. Unfortunately, Paul's father was not able to purchase life insurance due to his medical history.
If you would like to learn more about the situation or support Paul's widowed mother, please go to their GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-widow-with-autistic-son-pay-off-mortgage.
Paul is a musician and the author of several books including a book about his experience with an autistic sibling titled Second-Hand Autism: https://www.amazon.com/Secondhand-Autism-Paul-Brodie-ebook/dp/B00C1E8MPI.
Paul is a friend. He was an inspiration for this podcast. He generously lent his voice and his music to this podcast, doing some of the voice acting and letting us use his music in the credits.
Can Emory survive? What will happen to him? What will happen to Renton? Is there a future for the movement? What really matters? In the final episode, Emory must face these questions and others.
This episode of the Discontents audiobook podcast completes Discontents The Disappearance of a Young Radical, covering Chapters 34 through the epilogue.
The sequel, If You Find Emory Walden, is now available in paperback and ebook wherever you buy books or at https://www.amazon.com/James-Wallace-Birch/e/B005II5YQ4.
