This is the story of Lois, a young girl who is on her way to have a tryst with Howard, her lover. On the way, she stops to meet her much older brother, Kieth [sic], who is in a seminary and about to become a priest. She hasnât seen Kieth in many years, and her visit with him opens her eyes to life as she hasnât seen. The reader is left to his own imagination as to what Loisâ decision was regarding her intended tryst with Howard.
